Pursue outstanding warehousing services and order distribution to retail network & wholesale customers
Manage the relationships and performance of logistics and warehouse providers as well as oversee inventory management and control processes within the warehouses and Head Office.
Prepare inventory forecasting, monitor stock turnovers and KPI
Local distribution and fulfillment
Consolidate orders from various channels and ensure all being properly relayed by 3PL for fulfillment
Review and sense check store/counter orders based on historical performance
Communicate customer specific delivery requirement and monitor outbound order fulfillment status
Provide supply risk guidance for the aid of allocation decision across various sales channel/ stores
Collaborate with 3PL to ensure all outbound shipment are properly handled and delivered according to pre-defined delivery window
Coordinate internally for accurate shipping document preparation in timely manner for import/export activities
Drive the inventory/non-inventory distribution request for ad hoc events
Work closely with Retail team on orders/ new product availability/ delivery schedules and provide effective communication
Process wholesale orders – managing sales orders & return)
Market supply and inventory management
Review and confirm demand forecast/ schedule demand of trade items, samples and consumables aligning to market expectation
Ensure all product lifecycle (phased in phased out) and promotional events being factored into the demand plan/stock strategy
Work closely with commercial teams to define replenishment plan for new stores, counters or new accounts, etc
Liase with regulatory team to understand the implication of regulation, product formula, or any other regulatory change, and propose supply solution or risk mitigation plan
Review the DRP proposed replenishment plan and propose adjustment or trigger shipment expedition request based on latest market supply status
Track the status of goods in transit as required, and follow up with freight provider for any delay
Provide overlabelling instruction to warehouse based on regulatory requirement
Optimise the process of regular stocktake, reconcile biannual stock take results and work with warehouse to address the identified variation
Lead the monthly inventory reconciliation between warehouse WMS and ERP system
Non-inventory/ asset registration and management
Monitor write-off of inventory, and provide guidance to stores/counters for carrying out company’s inventory write-off procedure.
Provide leadership to appointed 3PL to ensure outstanding warehousing and distribution services supported
Lead the monthly operation review meeting with 3PL, review warehouse performance against operational KPI and identify room for improvement/ take relevant actions to improve results as necessary
Liase with 3PL for quotation on ad hoc business need
Audit all transport and warehouse invoices for management approval
Track warehouse expenditure against budget.
Generate & analyse operational reports and drive continuous improvement
Develop successful business partnership to keep informed of market specific information.
- Bachelor degree or higher in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning, or equivalent experience
- Min 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics functions of retail, healthcare or FMCG industry
- Able to collaborate and network within matrix and intercultural teams
- Understanding of regulatory requirement for various countries in Southeast Asia would be an advantage
- Proven track record as a collaborative partner with exceptional customer service, both internally and externally
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Strong system/analytical skills and good business acumen
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP) an advantage
