About the role

As our Nike Japan Product/Margin Senior Finance Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include proactively identifying the revenue and margin implications of business decisions throughout Nike’s go-to-market process (Consumer Code) and articulating solutions that meet the needs of business partners.

You'll support the Product/Margin manager to track and evaluate margin attainment each season, working with Pricing, Merchandizing, Demand & Supply Management, Sales teams with a focus on specific support needed in the Supply Chain/Operations area.

You will provide ad-hoc margin analysis to the team and be a strategic business partner to influence pricing, demand and investment decisions.

You will support the Gross Pricing Margin and Gross Margin forecast process and will support the territory margin forecast submission across wholesale and Nike direct business channels.


1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field (MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred).

2. 3+ years experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting preferred (Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus).

3.Strong written and verbal communication/influencing skills both in Japanese and English.

4.Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

5. Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial model.

6.Proven experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership.

7.Experience leading projects and people with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
