About the role

Project Manager for Asia-Pacific is a critical member of SCI team, managing a portfolio of partnerships and engaging employees in the community in key cities in Japan, Korea, South East Asia, and Asia Pacific. This includes implementing community investment strategies focused on increasing girls participation, investing in quality coaching and removing barriers to sport and play for the least active kids. It is expected that this person will work with a variety of Nike functions and external stakeholders, supporting integration and collaboration as part of community partner events and Nike seasonal campaigns.This role will also be expected to take initiative in partnership with internal teams (including HR), for employee community engagement, connecting volunteers with community programs in key cities. Responsibilities include internal and external partner relations and grant management, event planning and implementation, reporting and budget management. Finally, Project Manager will help local teams to support for powerful storytelling, internally and externally.

This role will report to the SCI Director for Asia Pacific and collaborate closely with local teams and staff in Brand Marketing, Retail, Government & Public Affairs, Human Resources, Sustainable Manufacturing & Sourcing and others.


Requirements for the position include:
  1. Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work across multiple different projects at one time, supporting different initiative tracks;
  2. Mastery of driving processes and project management to achieve team results, with attention to detail;
4.Strong liaison and logistic skills in managing events and workshops, working together internally and externally;
5.Planning and managing corporate volunteers;
6.Knowledge of the social impact, corporate responsibility and sports sectors, especially community- and school-based sports programming;
  1. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills with proven ability to structure and deliver content that inspires and engages others;
  2. Undergraduate (preferably in Development / Social Sciences or Marketing/Communications) degree
