Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for managing the overall process and facilitating smooth execution of the product ranging, sample management, regional meeting, JPN sales meeting, JPN key account meeting and Tenjikai in terms of calendar, process, execution and all other process in Japan and other APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan with global and local relevant functions and align on seasonal / quarterly range and marketing calendars and key meetings Establish and manage timelines to ensure smooth execution of sample ordering, forecasting, and product ranging processes working with local and APAC cross functional teams Manage maintenance of various systems needed for sample ordering and product ranging:
Tenjikai Master (article master system) via DMT (sample order system) RMA (product range system) to support the Merchandising Manager on product ranging Article data creation on the NAC system
Support the sample ordering process by leading sample ordering operations and controlling product hangtags Consolidate range data from different countries in APAC to facilitate MOQ adjustments and support the range finalization Plan and execute AGC (Asia Golf Conference) 2 times in a year with key stakeholders (Merchandising, Brand activation and APAC teams) Plan and execute Sell-in activations for Japan market (Tenjikai, Key account meeting and Sales meeting) with key stake holders (Merchandising, Brand activation and Sales)
Key Relationships:


Merchandising Brand activation Global and local MOPS FP&A CCT (Creation center Tokyo) and CCC (Creation centers Carlsbad) All relevant counterparts in APAC countries (Korea, GCA and SEAPAC)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Process / project management experience
  • Strong in IT systems and data management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build successful relationships internally and externally
  • Leadership and negotiation skills that influence local / global teams
  • Approx. 4-6 years of experience in sporting goods or related industry
Requisite Education / Qualifications:
  • PC skills, especially Excel and Power point
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Japanese is a must
  • University Degree (BS, BA, or equivalent)
