WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for the Nike Japan Art Director based in Tokyo, a key member of our Marketing team, which is responsible for creating the future for one of the world's most iconic brands, by fueling the inspiration and innovation to help athletes make sport a daily habit. Art Director will lead a team of multidisciplinary designers across multiple projects, working closely with team members from Brand Narrative & Experience, Editorial, Studio Management and Production to deliver well-crafted and innovative creative. They drive design excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, to ensure the team delivers holistic creative against the brand strategy.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
Your day-to-day focus as Nike Japan Art Director will be on leading the look and feel of the Nike brand across all creative and consumer touchpoints. All the work you lead will be in service of helping consumers to feel and do sport. The creative process will begin with deep consumer insights and your genuine passion for how Nike can add value to athletes* lives through our products, services and experiences. As Art Director, you will lead a team of designers by providing inspiration, support and direction to encourage creative excellence, individual ambition and team spirit. You will be a key member of our Brand Creative leadership team, and as such will be accountable for nurturing an environment within the Tokyo Studio for visionary thinking, imagination, collaboration and our collective potential. As the most senior designer in the Tokyo Brand Creative studio, you will work closely with all external and all internal designers in the development of creative works from concept to execution.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You'll be part of the Nike Tokyo Brand Creative Studio and work in close partnership with our APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America) Geography and Global Brand Creative Studio teammates. You will contribute exceptional creative to help fuel deep consumer journeys, which requires close collaboration across partner functions like our Nike Japan Consumer Brand Marketing, Consumer Direct Marketing and Catalyst Brand Management as well as cross-functional partners within the APLA Geography and at Nike's World Headquarters.

応募資格

WHAT YOU BRING
* 4 years bachelor's degree.
* Minimum 7+ years graphic design and art direction experience in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in the Japanese language is a plus but not a requirement.
* Passion for Japanese culture and consumers, with a focus on Tokyo. Detailed understanding of today's creative landscape and how people engage with content from digital products to environments and experiences.
* Stellar portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a deep knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital and experience production, and an understanding of consumer platforms.
* A strong network of creative partners from Tokyo, Japan and across the globe, with an emphasis on agencies, photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, graphic designers, stylists, casting directors, set designers and their representatives. Ability to collaborate and manage the relationships with this network.
* Proven ability as a manager and mentor, with a knack and strong desire to help everyone on the team to grow, improve and succeed as we advance toward collective and individual goals. The ability to lead team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities, with strong time management skills to balance daily and long-term tasks on multiple, simultaneous work streams.
* Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and building enthusiasm for creative work. An optimistic, solution-centric mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
