Parfums Christian Dior Japon is part of the LVMH group, the largest luxury brand in the world. As a PR MANAGER, you will be responsible for managing all PR activities across media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and driving impactful results in alignment with overall company objectives. This position is reporting to PR Director in PR, Brand Marketing & Communication, and located in Tokyo.
Mission:
To develop and execute integrated PR and communication strategies that elevate Parfums Christian Dior's brand awareness, image, and desirability within the Japanese market for their specific category (Skincare, Fragrance, or Makeup), while also contributing to the business objectives especially the recruitment by gaining awareness and excitement for the new launches. This role is responsible for managing all PR activities across media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and driving impactful results in alignment with overall company objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop & execute PR strategies: Design and implement comprehensive PR plans for their specific product category (Skincare, Fragrance, or Makeup), aligning with overall brand objectives and target audience.
Manage media relations & secure coverage: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across print, web, and social; proactively pitch stories and secure good exposures in any format.
Create engaging content across channels: Oversee the creation of compelling press materials, social media content, and other communication assets, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Plan & execute PR events for press, KOL, influencers. Lead the collaboration with other Category Managers: Strongly corporate with other categories to achieve the balanced, efficient and best-complementary communication as the brand.
Collaborate with the Influence Project Manager on influencer campaigns: Work with the Influence Project Manager to develop content concepts, select influencers, and ensure brand alignment in influencer marketing initiatives.
Lead and manage the cross-category projects. Manage the PR budget for their category. Track campaign performance & report results: Monitor and analyze PR campaign performance, using data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement; prepare reports for stakeholders.
Supervise outsourced product leasing service (Media Globe). Collaborate with internal teams & manage junior staff: Work closely with product marketing, sales, and other departments; manage and mentor junior PR team members including assistant and intern.
