【Main Purpose】
Within the Client Relations and Service team, the Business Development Manager is in charge of optimizing the business with Inbound clients.
He/she is responsible to identify the Inbound client categories in prospective areas, to define the right targets, and to build a solid and selective network among local Inbound clients/ intermediates or Inbound tourists. He/she defines and implements action plans, in order to recruit and develop loyalty of these contacts.
He/she creates and animates a local community of multilingual sales associates in order to coordinate initiatives. He/she works in close collaboration with the boutiques, the local headquarter teams (events, CRM, marketing…) and the Cartier International Business Development platform.
As the specialist of the Inbound business, he/she is in charge of analyzing results, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and watching the competitive environment.

REPORTING TO:Client Relations and Service Director
-Identify the potential Inbound client category in the context of the visit objectives and travelling pattern in subsidiaries or region.
-Identify qualified local Foreigners’ communities to further access to this network
-Leverage possible resource among the local Foreigners’ community
-Optimize relationship with local business partners also involved in the Inbound business (department stores, retailers…)
-Define exclusive recruitment and loyalty action plans to local or tourists
-Implement treatment opportunities for contacts in close collaboration with local retail, events, CRM teams (educational training, private viewing, cocktails…)
-Follow-up the results of campaign, extend and upgrade clients contacts and treatment
-Embody the Maison for this network (be an ambassador)
-Create a “Inbound Committee” with the local multilingual sales associates, in order to establish transparent and positive coordination and to leverage resources
-Assist the recruitment of multilingual sales associates and the training program


-Strong networking skills will be needed to develop new Clients -Excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills are essential for frequent communication with internal and external members internationally
-Ability to innovate and structure your activity as this is a new position for Richemont Japan
-At least 5 years of experience in luxury services or retail business is essential to understand how to work with VIP customers
-Good connections within the Chinese community in prospective countries/regions
-Passionate, results driven, service oriented and strong business mindset
-Strong presentation skills are needed when making proposals and facilitating business meetings
-Other competencies include: flexible, dynamic, proactive, precise, team player -Chinese- (native speaker), English- (fluent), and Japanese (fluent)
